Manager, Prospect Development - Remote

This is a fully remote position, and candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Conducts thorough research on individuals and foundations utilizing internal constituent information and data from multiple external research tools; evaluates findings and forms recommendations that inform front-line fundraisers’ solicitation strategies. – 55%
• Provides strategy insights, monitors fundraising activity for process compliance and maintains strong partnerships with prospect development and assigned fundraising teams. – 10%
• Oversees a balanced portfolio across an assigned team and collaborates with Philanthropy Operations team to ensure data hygiene for major gift prospects. – 10%
• Gathers and analyzes data on priority constituents to identify new opportunities and align donor interests with ACS programs and mission. – 10%
• Verifies gift capacity and biographical details and assists on obtaining updated contact information for high-priority prospects. – 10%
• Engages in professional development to remain current on best practices. – 5%

Minimum Degree

Required:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred Degree:
Bachelor's Degree Years of experience: 3 years of experience in prospect research or equivalent field.

Demonstrated expertise in prospect research technologies, data tools, CRM (Salesforce preferred) and interpretation of complex information from diverse sources (e.g., IRS filings, SEC records, property data, biographical data, charitable giving databases).Strong Analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, confidential and highly sensitive environment, upholding the APRA Advance Prospect Research standards and Code of Ethics.

The starting rate is $67,000 to $70,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
