Teach Communication and Relational Skills in Social Work online using strong communication, grading, and virtual classroom skills. The course serves approximately 40 BSW students.
The University of Manitoba Faculty of Social Work seeks an online instructor for SWRK 2030 D01. This sessional appointment runs January 4 through April 30, 2027, within the Distance Delivery B.S.W. Program. The anticipated workload is 108 hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare instructional materials relevant to the course
- Teach Communication and Relational Skills in Social Work
- Mark and grade online exams and assignments
- Provide constructive feedback to students
- Monitor forums and interact frequently online
- Subject-area background or specialization
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Competence in post-secondary teaching
- Advanced computer, mobile device, and virtual classroom skills
- Empathetic approach to distance learning needs
Support BSW students through online teaching, constructive feedback, discussion forums, and communication-focused social work instruction.
