Remote Generator Maintenance Specialist

Location: St. John's

Become a Generator Maintenance Specialist at GE Vernova, focusing on technical advising and field services. This remote role requires considerable travel to provide generator support across the Americas.

As a technical advisor, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing industrial power generation equipment. This includes conducting various tests, consulting on installation and warranty procedures, and performing critical troubleshooting. You will directly interact with customers to address their technical challenges and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough generator inspections and performance testing

• Diagnose and repair generator faults on-site

• Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment specifications

• Document inspection findings and test results comprehensively

• Follow safety protocols and compliance regulations

Requirements:

• Technical degree or 4+ years of relevant field experience

• Experience with electrical test equipment and testing methods

• Flexibility for extensive travel and varying assignments

• Obtain necessary security clearances for plant access

• Valid Driver’s License and passport
