This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of energy & fuel sourcing and procurement excellence.
Responsibilities- Analyzing the energy and fuel mix across HEINEKEN’s operating companies worldwide;
- Building an energy and fuel contract database and structured overview;
- Analyzing energy and fuel contracts and preparing recommendations for improvement;
- Maintaining and enhancing dashboards for performance tracking and developing Excel‑based macros and visualizations;
- Cross‑functional collaboration – working closely with teams across supply chain, procurement, and finance.
You will be part of the Sustainable Production team within Indirect Procurement, based at our Schiphol/Amsterdam office. During the internship you will gain experience working in an international environment, be in contact with colleagues across the Globe, and help us realize HEINEKEN’s Brewing a Better World ambitions. QualificationsWe are looking for someone who is analytically strong, detail‑oriented, and passionate about energy markets and procurement. You are curious, proactive and eager to make an impact in a purpose‑driven international environment. With a hands‑on mindset, you are motivated to work with data and contracts, and you bring the drive to improve ways‑of‑working in global energy sourcing. Do you recognize yourself in the profile below?
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, AI or Business.
- Digital savvy with expertise in Microsoft Office applications, with particular focus on Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Copilot, and curiosity about AI and its practical applications in a business setting.
- An excellent grasp of the English language is required.
- You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
- In the case of non‑EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
- In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
- You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).
- A full‑time practice‑oriented internship, starting on September 1, 2026.
- The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor).
- Your home office will be located in The Base, Schiphol, Amsterdam.
- Hybrid model – typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home.
- Monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40‑hour workweek.
- You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full‑time internship).
- If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed.
