Up to £390/day Umbrella
 
This is an excellent opportunity to join a major rail infrastructure programme, helping to improve energy performance and deliver sustainability initiatives across a large operational network. The role offers flexible, predominantly remote working while contributing to meaningful energy reduction projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver and continuously improve Energy Management Plans.

· Monitor, analyse, and report on energy usage and performance.

· Maintain compliance with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.

· Carry out energy audits and identify energy-saving opportunities.

· Prepare business cases to support energy efficiency projects.

· Deliver energy management training and work closely with a range of stakeholders.
 
Essential Experience

· Experience implementing or maintaining ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.

· Proven background in energy management with measurable results.

· Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) qualification or equivalent experience.

· Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Previous project management experience.

Desirable Experience

· Level 3 Energy Manager qualification.

· Membership of AEE, AEM, or EMA.

· Experience with in rail, infrastructure, engineering, or utilities.
