About the Role

Our client seeks a proactive and experienced Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their team in Tembisa . This role focuses on evaluating energy consumption across various industrial and commercial facilities, identifying areas for improvement, and developing practical strategies to reduce energy usage and costs. You will work directly with clients to implement energy-saving solutions and monitor their effectiveness. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for sustainability within the energy sector .

• Conduct on-site energy audits and assessments of commercial and industrial facilities.
• Analyze energy usage data to identify inefficiencies and potential cost savings.
• Develop customized energy efficiency plans and recommendations for clients.
• Oversee the implementation of energy‑saving measures and track their performance.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings, recommendations, and projected savings for clients.
• Educate clients on best practices for energy conservation and sustainable operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in energy management , consulting, or auditing.
• Knowledge of energy‑efficient technologies, building systems, and utility rate structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with energy modeling software is a plus.
