About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Energy Analyst to join their dynamic and globally distributed team. • Conduct in-depth analysis of global energy markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and regulatory factors.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to forecast energy commodity prices and assess project viability.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and clients, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations.
• Identify emerging trends and risks within the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy and sustainable technologies .
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, economists, and project managers, to provide data-driven insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in energy technologies, policy changes, and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.

• Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in energy market analysis, financial modeling, or strategic consulting within the energy sector .
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python (with libraries like Pandas, Num Py), and SQL.
• Experience with energy market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon) and forecasting methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of energy economics, policy, and the evolving landscape of clean energy .
