About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Energy Systems Analyst to join their remote team. This position will focus on analyzing complex energy data to support strategic decision-making, optimize system performance, and contribute to the development of innovative energy solutions. You will work with large datasets, develop models, and provide insights into energy generation, distribution, and consumption patterns. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from home while contributing to critical projects that shape the future of energy infrastructure.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical acumen and a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to energy generation, consumption, and grid performance.
- Develop and maintain simulation models to assess the impact of various energy technologies and policies.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improving energy system efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations of analytical findings for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Stay informed about advancements in energy technologies and analytical methodologies.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy systems analysis, data modeling, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Strong understanding of energy markets, power systems, and renewable energy technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and statistical modeling skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and communicate complex technical information clearly.
