As our O&M Manager – Solar, Storage and Private Wire, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe and efficient operations, leading talented teams, managing critical contractor relationships, and helping maximise the performance of renewable assets that support our net zero ambitions.

The Opportunity As O&M Manager – Solar, Storage and Private Wire, you’ll lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a growing renewable energy portfolio. You’ll work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure high standards of health and safety, operational performance and compliance across our solar, storage and private wire assets.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this is a hybrid role with flexible home working. You'll be expected to travel across the UK & Ireland to attend events and support EDF power solutions assets as required, with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across locations including #Durham, #London, #Edinburgh and #Cardiff.

Who You Are We’re looking for an O&M Manager with strong experience in renewable energy. You’ll be a confident leader, capable of managing operational risks, contractor performance and technical teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, with a strong understanding of HSE legislation and industry standardsA degree in engineering or a related discipline, or significant equivalent experience, alongside a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Proven experience in operation and maintenance, including delivering operational performance improvements

Experience in High Voltage and Low Voltage operating procedures and safety rules, or equivalent industry standards

Experience managing contracts, operational budgets and cost control activities

Experience leading teams, including setting objectives and managing performanceA full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the UK as required

What You’ll Be Doing Leading, developing and motivating a team to create a high-performing, collaborative and safety-focused culture

Managing the safe and efficient delivery of operations and maintenance activities across solar, storage and private wire assets

Working closely with asset management, engineering and technical teams to optimise asset performance
