About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced and analytical Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their team in Centurion . This role involves assessing energy consumption patterns for commercial and industrial clients, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements, and developing tailored strategies for enhanced energy efficiency. You will work closely with clients to implement recommendations and monitor their progress, playing a key part in reducing carbon footprints and promoting sustainable energy practices.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities, analyzing energy usage data and identifying areas for improvement.
Develop detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommended energy-saving measures, and projected cost benefits.
Design and implement energy management plans, collaborating with clients to integrate new technologies and operational changes.
Monitor client energy performance post-implementation, tracking savings and providing ongoing technical support.
Stay current with the latest energy efficiency technologies, regulations, and best practices in the energy sector .
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on energy-related matters.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental), or a related technical field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy consulting, facility management, or a related role focusing on energy efficiency .
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and energy modeling software.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of building systems, industrial processes, and various energy-saving technologies.
Certification such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager) is a plus.
