Offshore Wind Farm Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Offshore Wind Farm Technician to join their globally distributed engineering support team. This remote position involves providing crucial technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning for their offshore wind farm operations. You will leverage your expertise to diagnose issues, coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, and contribute to the continuous optimization of wind turbine performance.

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for operational offshore wind turbines and associated systems.
• Analyze performance data, fault logs, and diagnostic reports to identify potential issues and recommend proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate with site teams, vessel crews, and onshore operations centers to schedule and manage maintenance activities.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures and technical documentation for offshore wind turbines.
• Contribute to root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures and performance degradations.
• Monitor the condition of key components and systems, advising on necessary repairs or replacements to minimize downtime.

• Technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with large-scale wind turbines, preferably offshore.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, SCADA systems, and remote monitoring software.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical data.
