Remote Solar Energy Project Manager

Our client is a forward-thinking renewable energy company looking for a highly motivated and experienced Remote Solar Energy Project Manager. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to groundbreaking solar projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of solar energy initiatives, from conception and planning through to execution and closure. This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational and leadership skills to oversee diverse project portfolios.

• Manage all phases of solar energy projects, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, permits, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, reporting regularly on key performance indicators and milestones.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project participants through virtual meetings and digital platforms.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies within the solar energy domain.
• Champion the adoption of innovative technologies and best practices in solar project execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Environmental Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, specifically within the solar energy industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-faceted projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, system design, and installation requirements.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and collaboration tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with local and international solar market regulations and incentives.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a strong asset.
• Self-disciplined and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
