Summer Corporate Intern: Walmart Energy Internship

As an Energy Business Insights Intern, you will support the Walmart Energy team with structured analysis, research, and project execution. You will help turn data and market information into clear insights that support decisions across a dynamic energy portfolio.

Example project areas may include:

• Analyzing operational, market, or customer data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Researching energy markets, technologies, policy, or competitor activity to inform strategic opportunities.
• Supporting project plans, stakeholder materials, and performance reporting for cross-functional energy initiatives.
• Translating complex findings into concise presentations, dashboards, or written recommendations.

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without a requirement for current or future sponsorship
• Willingness to relocate to Walmart’s Home Office in Bentonville, AR, for both the internship and potential full-time opportunity post-graduation.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
• Demonstrated interest in energy, infrastructure, sustainability, strategy, analytics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative working style and ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

• Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or Engineering.
• Supply Chain, Operations, Public Policy, or related disciplines.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00*
