REMOTE: OEM Solution Architect

The OEM Solution Architect will engage with OEM customers and partners, assess technical needs, design and partner solutions, and support Lenovo’s OEM sales teams in presenting customized, integrated solutions.

• Gather and understand customer technical requirements through communication with customer offering and technical teams.
• Document customer requirements and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and architect solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners to address customer business problems.
• Evaluate customer solutions for optimization and alignment with Lenovo products and services.
• Set and manage expectations around solutions, internally and externally.
• Assist with test plans and stay engaged with customer and internal teams during solution development.
• Understand emerging technologies and products and Lenovo’s strategies to address them.
• Collaborate with customers, sales team, and extended Lenovo teams.
• Collaborate with sales and the customer to drive quarterly business reviews with key accounts.
• Gather feedback from customers on current products and relay that to Lenovo Business Units for future improvement.

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Previous experience as a pre‑sales solutions architect required.

• Experience with Intel x86 system architecture, networking, storage, and GPU solutions highly desired.
• Experience with Windows and Linux device management highly desired.
• Experience working with Intel ISA and ecosystem partner alliance nice to have.
• Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $150k - 180k plus a performance‑based bonus of 12%. This is a remote position based in the Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA area.
