Field Service Technician turbomachinery

For the further operational development of our Prime Serv Industries
, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer with prior field experience with rotating equipment.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated international team and contribute directly and independently to the successful execution of service projects, onshore and offshore within Europe. In this position, you will be responsible for pursuing field service activities related to the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of turbo machinery for industrial applications. Our customers include energy producers, process industries, EPCs, and engineering firms across Italy and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Execution / Supervision of mechanical works at customer sites, mainly on turbo machinery
• Planning, organization, preparation & coordination of such site works with Everllence internal as well as customer staff & contractors
• Professional guidance and instruction of the crew employed (own, clients and / or contractors) during the site works
• Perform service tasks on new installations, maintenance and repairing activities on turbo compressors, steam turbines, expanders and other rotating equipment
• Perform administration, reporting and documentation for the work performed
• First response to our clients in Italy and European Region for any emergency on Everllence turbo machinery

You can help us with these skills and qualifications

• Graduate from Senior High School and Apprentice training with experience > 5 years in rotating equipment (steam turbine, turbo compressor and expander) or Diploma in mechanical engineering with 5 year’s experience in mechanical works on rotating equipment
• More than 3 years field service experience on new installations and / or service works on at least five types of turbo machinery (preferably internationally)
• Experience in reading technical documents, instructions, sketches /explanation of details and cross sectional drawings
• Good reporting skills and reporting any findings in the field in writing
• Fluency in English, good command of Italian language (written and spoken)

Where we need you

You will be travelling across Italy and Europe for up to 75% of the time for technical assignments. Our offices are located in Genoa and Lomagna, Italy, but your presence there won't be required.
