Field Service Engineer – Pittsburgh, PA (Beckman Coulter Diagnostics)
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, seeks a Field Service Engineer based in Pittsburgh, PA to maintain and service diagnostic equipment across the surrounding territory. The role is fully remote and requires extensive troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installation, and technical training for our customers.
Responsibilities- Work independently to troubleshoot, install, provide preventive maintenance, and repair Beckman Coulter equipment, and provide efficient service to customers while conducting technical training on products.
- Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records; order repair parts and adhere to cycle times. Use business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, meet their requirements, and train newer field service engineers.
- Associate Degree or equivalent military experience.
- 0–1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
- Ability to travel 40–50% of the time, overnight, within the territory or locations.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- 2+ years’ experience in advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications, and/or service repair.
- Experience developing positive business relationships with stakeholders, leading to increased customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Technical college major such as biomedical engineering or a related field.
Hourly rate: $35–$38/hr

This position is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement within the Pittsburgh area.
