As a Design Engineer, you will focus on the development of combines in the chassis and grain handling area. Working alongside the international team, you will be responsible for designing and developing moderately complex structures and sheet metal components, ensuring they meet stringent performance, durability, quality, and serviceability standards. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams will be key to optimizing designs for production while ensuring alignment with the broader project goals.

• Design and develop structural components and grain handling systems.
• Ensure that design choices are clearly documented, justified, and tracked to support future reference and traceability.
• Manage engineering changes using systems such as EPDM and handle ECR/ECN processes effectively.
• Support new product development, problem resolution and cost optimization. Close collaboration with the virtual simulation team to support finite and discrete element analysis (FEA/DEA).
• Contribute to validation plans to ensure functional integrity, performance and durability. Participate in design reviews with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.).

• Education: A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. However, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma (Perito) will also be considered.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering is required, with a background in agricultural machinery and equipment.

  Proficiency in solid modelling (ProE preferred), MS Office tools, drawing layouts, and GD&T methodology is essential.
• Design Expertise: Extensive experience in the design and development of sheet metal and fabricated steel structures, including welded and bolted assemblies and mechanical components.
• Additional Requirements: Strong problem‑solving skills, a positive and collaborative attitude, fluency in English and Italian, and willingness to participate in field test activities across European countries to investigate concerns, identify resolutions, and report results. Availability for occasional international travel to locations such as Europe, the United States, and Brazil.

After completing the initial onboarding period, you will become eligible for a hybrid working model consisting of 3 days onsite at our Breganze location and 2 days of remote work per week.
