Intermediate Test Engineer

TMC Technologies offers a new 5‑year contract providing subject‑matter, systems engineering, software development, and test & evaluation expertise to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division’s Warfare Systems Engineering and Integration (V) Department.

We are seeking an Intermediate Test Engineer to join our team. While remote work may be possible, all personnel are initially expected to work on‑site in the Dahlgren area until performance is established. Relocation assistance may be provided. A SECRET (or higher) security clearance is required.
The start date for this position will be in late December 2025 or early January 2026.

• Perform data collection and data extraction.
• Conduct root cause analysis on command and control systems.
• Assess operational and technical impacts of identified problems.
• Define and track test metrics.

• Interfacing systems such as sensor systems, track management systems, electronic warfare, self‑defense systems, displays, weapon systems, and tactical data links to assess overall system and capability performance.
• Creating, modifying, and executing test plans, test procedures, and test scenarios.
• Generating test observation reports, problem reports, and test reports.

• SECRET (or higher) security clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering.
