You will be joining a team that delivers cutting‑edge IP‑based SMPTE 2110 broadcast infrastructure projects.
YOUR CHALLENGECandidate must be able to travel to the worksite located in New York City.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Commissioning & Configuration
- Deploy and configure broadcast systems at customer sites.
- Ensure seamless integration of Lawo products into client environments.
- Collaborate closely with Lawo headquarters in Germany for technical alignment.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide remote and on‑site support for post‑installation issues.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems in IP broadcast systems.
Pre‑Sales & Consulting
- Assist sales teams with technical consulting and conceptual design.
- Support customer engagements with tailored solutions and demos.
Programming & Automation
- Configure systems using Python, Linux, and Kubernetes.
- Utilize Docker and Ansible for automation and deployment tasks.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of configurations, issues, and resolutions.
- Create user guides and technical documentation for clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Engineering, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in broadcast technology, preferably with IP‑based systems.
- Strong understanding of SMPTE ST 2110
, Layer 3 networking, and multicast workflows. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation tools.
- Moderate proficiency in Python, Linux, and Kubernetes; experience with Docker and Ansible is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
