Design & Specifications: Lead the preparation and review of design packages, including quantity calculations, cost estimates, site‑specific plans, and contract documents.
Stormwater & Water Quality Compliance: Oversee inspections, audits, and sampling programs; provide senior‑level guidance on regulatory compliance strategies.
Project Leadership: Direct multiple projects simultaneously, managing scope, schedule, cost, change control, progress reporting, and issue resolution; develop engineering scopes of work and budgets/estimates for proposals and new opportunities.
Technical Expertise: Lead analysis and management of data, prepare technical reports, interpret civil construction design and as‑built plans, and provide QA/QC oversight.
Mentorship & Team Development: Supervise, coach, and develop engineering staff, fostering technical growth, collaboration, and high‑quality project delivery.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, represent company at meetings and public forums, and identify opportunities to expand services.
What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (U.S.
-accredited).
10+ years relevant experience.
P.E. Certification in the State of Hawaiʻi (or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months).
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and experience using Bluebeam Revu, Civil 3D, GIS.
Ability to obtain U.S. Defense Contractor Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credential.
Bonus SkillsAdvanced knowledge of potable water systems and related regulations.
Strong understanding of MS4 NPDES permit compliance.
