Field Service Engineer

Salary Range: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
- Install, start up, maintain, and repair IWK equipment on-site, with full documentation.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control system issues; provide detailed service reports and corrective actions.
- Optimize equipment performance through fine-tuning and process adjustments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to share field data and drive product improvements.
- Serve as the primary technical representative, maintaining professional communication and customer relationships.
- Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Train customers on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Plan and execute daily work schedules efficiently.
- Associate’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Factory Automation, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical environments, ideally with automated or packaging equipment.
- Military veterans with equivalent technical training and field experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven expertise in servicing automated equipment (mechanical, electrical, controls).
- Experience with Schneider Electric control systems and function block programming is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of PLC logic and HMI interfaces.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and pneumatic diagrams.
- Familiarity with remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., Team Viewer, Net Support Manager).
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable working remotely via VPN, intranet and cloud-based tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Valid passport and driver's license required.
- Willing and able to travel up to 80%, including international assignments.
