- Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience.
- Professional SE License required.
- Master’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university.
- Experience in Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).
- Experience with ground-up construction (60-70%) and renovations (30-40%).
- Familiarity with Mission Critical Facilities.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale structural projects.
- Strong, decisive leadership and ability to manage a team of engineers and BIM designers.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering successful projects and maintaining client relationships.
- Experience working with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD.
- Experience in seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41.

Role OverviewSaiful Bouquet Structural Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Los Angeles (2 positions) and San Diego (1 position). This role is critical in managing and leading large-scale Type I structural projects across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, hospitality, and aviation.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and BIM designers, managing project schedules and budgets, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and consultants. This role offers significant opportunities for career growth, including a partnership track.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Supervise project teams (engineers, BIM designers) and ensure successful project execution.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions.

- Conduct technical design and detailing for large-scale structures.
