Overview
HDR is seeking qualified individuals to provide project, geographic and technical leadership in our dam, levee and flood resilience programs. HDR is employee-owned and highly ranked by ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and for Hydropower. Our globally coordinated, locally delivered dam, levee and flood resilience program is committed to improving resiliency, sustainability and safety of communities as dams, levees and flood control systems are upgraded to adapt to a changing climate and meet growing water needs.

We are seeking civil, structural, geotechnical and hydraulic engineers to serve as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders with expertise and interest in working on complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects. Expertise in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) is a growing need.

Responsibilities- Provide project, geographic and technical leadership on dam, levee and flood resilience programs.
- Serve as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders with expertise in complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects.
- Develop and apply expertise in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA).
- Collaborate with HDR teams across locations and support relocation or remote opportunities as appropriate.
- Civil, structural, geotechnical or hydraulic engineering disciplines with experience as engineers of record, group managers or technical practice leaders.
- Experience on complex dam, levee and flood resilience projects; PFMA expertise.
- Familiarity with dam safety, levee safety and related hydraulic structures; ability to lead and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to relocate or consider opportunities across HDR’s 200+ locations; openness to remote work where feasible.
