Reporting to the Director of Civil, Structural, Environmental Health & Safety Engineering
, the Senior Project Engineer will lead the structural engineering portion of major projects across industrial, commercial, science + technology, and workplace sectors, manage all structural engineering deliverables, collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, and mentor junior engineers.
- Lead the structural engineering portion of major projects across industrial, commercial, science + technology, and workplace sectors.
- Manage all structural engineering deliverables including data collection, design, specifications, contract documents, shop drawing review, and construction coordination.
- Collaborate proactively with multi-discipline design teams to achieve innovative, buildable solutions.
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource for junior engineers.
- BS in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) required; MS in Civil or Structural Engineering a plus.
- PE and/or SE license (required in at least one U.S. state).
- 10+ years of structural design and project leadership experience.
- Proficient in the design of structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed metal framing, and deep foundation systems.
- Understanding and knowledge of structural requirements for precast and tilt-up concrete projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency in producing structural construction documents within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM environment using Revit.
- Expertise in structural analysis software, such as RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, Tekla TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, RISA, CFS, Anchor Designer (Strong-Tie), Hilti Profis, Ideastatica, Excel/VBA.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. Building Codes and Reference Standards.
