Overview
InPwr, Inc. is looking for a Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Coordinator to join our team. We are an award-winning electrical design-build firm with offices in Indianapolis, IN;
Denver, CO;

Join our team to contribute to high-impact design-build projects and drive BIM-based coordination and delivery.
Responsibilities- Oversee BIM model information and coordinate model-based work across teams.
- Resolve issues related to plans, specifications, scopes of work, and BIM models by collaborating with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, InPwr staff, and owner representatives.
- Manage coordination models, model-based submittals, and shop drawings; assess conformance to contract specifications and resolve interpretation conflicts.
- Schedule and lead subcontractor 3D virtual trade coordination meetings, preconstruction meetings, and submittal review meetings.
- Oversee the BIM close-out process and prepare final records such as as-built models, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and turnover documentation for the Owner when required.
- Supervise VDC Coordinators and VDC Interns, including input on performance appraisals.
- Prepare scope of work documents for trades using BIM models.
- Develop reports and assessments on coordination meeting records and constraint logs.
- Be willing to work from the Denver, CO office and travel to national sites as needed.
- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Utilizes leading-edge technologies such as BIM and Lean.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with BIM-based applications such as Navisworks Manage, Trimble Sketch Up, and Autodesk Revit.

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Physical ability to climb stairs, ladders, and move through construction areas; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Occasional use of construction personal hoists.
- Specific vision abilities including close, peripheral, and depth perception; ability to adjust focus.
- Manual dexterity to handle objects and operate tools; speaking and hearing as required.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Candidates must be willing to work from the Denver, CO office and travel to national sites as needed.
