We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Project Engineer with a passion for Water Resources Engineering to join our watershed and stormwater modeling team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in stormwater hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality, with experience using Esri ArcGIS software, stormwater modeling software, or AutoCAD Civil 3D strongly preferred.

- Lead and support the planning, design, and modeling of watershed and stormwater management projects.
- Perform advanced hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality analyses using GIS‑based tools and modeling software.
- Develop engineering studies, reports, technical specifications, and permit applications.
- Provide construction support, including reviewing submittals and performing site observations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to track project progress, ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.
- Review and mentor the work of Engineers and Engineer Interns to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Conduct peer reviews and uphold Jones Edmunds’ Quality Program to ensure every deliverable meets company, client, and regulatory expectations.
- Engage directly with clients, providing technical expertise, insights, and exceptional service.
- Education:
BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university. - Licensure:
Florida Professional Engineer (PE) required. - Experience:
Minimum 8 years of progressive consulting or related experience (MS may substitute for 1 year; PhD for 2 years). - Other:
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
