StructuralProject Engineer
Are you ready to take your structural engineering career to the next level? Our Tennessee division is looking for a Structural Project Engineer to join our growing team. If you're a licensed PE in Tennessee with a passion for bridge and retaining wall design-and you're looking for more responsibility, complex challenges, and a team that values your growth-you might be exactly who we're looking for.
LocationThis position will work out of either of our Tennessee offices (Franklin or Nashville) on a hybrid work schedule.
The Impact You Will Have- Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects
- Lead structural designers and review their work on bridge design projects
- Develop and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports
- Perform modeling and analysis
- Review and sign off on basic design calculations, quantities, and plan elements
- Model, analyze and/or design elements of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines within the project
- Work independently and develop task deliverables in a competent and reviewable manner
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
- PE License in Tennessee or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- Minimum of 4 years of bridge design experience
- Experience working with TDOT and local municipalities is a plus
- Proficiency in Bentley CAD and structural design software
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to deliver quality work within budget and schedule
