The base salary range for this position is $ to $ per year. Location options include Virginia Beach, VA;
Richmond, VA;
Reston, VA;
Hampton, VA;
Baltimore, MD; or Silver Spring, MD. Significant in-person collaboration with the Ports & Maritime team and client base in the Virginia Beach area is expected. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, staff, schedule, and budget projects while ensuring quality of work product, consistency across projects, and staff safety.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, architects, scientists, and subject matter experts to deliver innovative and cost‑effective solutions for clients.
  • Manage project financials, delivery, and client relationships, and collaborate with the Sales team to grow the Ports & Maritime portfolio in the region and beyond.
  • Engage in pursuit and delivery of exciting, complex waterfront projects from planning through construction.
  • Support growth of Jacobs’ Mid-Atlantic Ports and Maritime practice.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or related Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the delivery and/or management of waterfront infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in design or design management of waterfront projects or facilities.
  • Ability to work with a team of local and remote multi-disciplinary engineers and subject matter experts to deliver projects and proposals.
  • Ability to manage contract documents, design basis, technical specifications, and other client deliverables.
  • Experience in preparing technical and cost proposals to win work.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interface with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ideally:
  • Master’s degree in Engineering.
