Overview

Seeking Naval Architects & Structural Engineers for a project-based contract with a yacht manufacturing startup based in Turkey. The company aims to produce 28 ft to 50 ft composite motoryachts and is planning a 28 ft open centre console with a T-Top. The role focuses on stability checks, weight studies, and structural analysis to provide lamination lay-up plans (the scantlings recipe).

• Conduct weight studies to support structural sizing and ballast planning.

• Experience as a naval architect or structural engineer with yacht or small craft projects.
• Knowledge of stability analysis methods and relevant ISO standards as applicable (e.g., ISO 12217-1 considerations).
• Familiarity with laminate schedules and production-ready scantlings; ability to document specification and verification procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and translate vague requirements into engineering specifications.
