Senior Civil Engineer - Waco or Temple, TX. We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in our Temple or Waco, TX office. Position will include project management, client relations, design and construction oversight for major street, drainage, water and wastewater projects conducted in the area. Candidate will be expected to work as part of a design team or work independently with tasks that include client meetings and presentations, management of budgets and schedules for on-going projects, preparation technical reports, construction cost estimating, contract documents and specifications.

Manage, coordinate and mentor staff and project level and field employees. Support business development operations by attending industry functions, client meetings/presentations and preparing technical portion of proposals. Manage schedules, budgets, and profitability of assigned projects.

• Project management, client relations, design and construction oversight for major street, drainage, water and wastewater projects in the Temple/Waco area.
• Work as part of a design team or independently; conduct client meetings and presentations.
• Manage budgets and schedules for ongoing projects; prepare technical reports and construction cost estimates.
• Prepare contract documents and specifications; coordinate and mentor staff and field personnel.
• Support business development by attending industry functions and client meetings/presentations; contribute to technical portions of proposals.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and profitability of assigned projects.

• Minimum 10 years of Civil Engineering experience in municipal/public works projects.
• Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Self-starter with good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
