Fire Protection Design Engineer

Boston, MA (Hybrid – partial remote flexibility)
We are seeking a Fire Protection Design Engineer to join our growing team in Boston, MA. This is a full‑time hybrid role, offering a blend of in‑office collaboration and remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop fire suppression systems, including layout, hydraulic calculations, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with fire and life safety codes, standards, and regulations (NFPA, IBC, IFC, etc.).
- Conduct safety and risk assessments for new and existing projects.
- Provide code consulting and fire protection design guidance to clients and project teams.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance throughout the design and construction phases.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong experience with REVIT.
- Proven experience in fire protection design, fire suppression systems, and code compliance.
- Strong understanding of life safety and fire safety principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while working collaboratively in a team environment.
