In this role you will serve as a Lead or Senior Engineer responsible for energy optimization, power system coordination, arc‑flash hazard analysis, electrical reliability, construction inspection, and coordination with local utilities and design teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or Senior Engineer functions in power systems.
- Conduct energy optimization, power system coordination, arc‑flash hazard analysis, and electrical reliability studies.
- Inspect construction and resolve electrical issues.
- Coordinate with local electrical utilities on project technical needs.
- Review supplier submittals.
- Act as liaison between the local design team, client, and remote design teams for I&C design.
- Startup and testing of major electrical equipment.
- Lead electrical design for water/wastewater projects.
- Provide technical guidance on client standards to regional design centers.
- Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and misc plant electrical systems for client consultations.
- Support business development related to enhanced electrical services.
- Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.
- Assist with identifying key client interests and drivers on less complex projects.
- Communicate client interests to team members and develop approaches to accommodate them.
- Provide support to business development or pursuit activities.
- Professional Engineer license.
- 5+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services.
- Consulting and water/wastewater experience preferred.
- Experience with medium and low voltage power distribution equipment.
- Understanding of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and fiber optic cabling.
- Experience in a client‑facing / business development role.
- Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP or other analysis software.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Professional registration or licensure required or actively sought.
Position may require professional registration or licensure in designated home office country, or active pursuit of such registration.
