Senior Engineer - Structural

Job Location: US-TX-Houston | US-TX-Austin | US-TX-Dallas

Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Sr. Engineer to join their dynamic Structural Engineering team. The qualified candidate will have 5-9 years of relevant experience working on the design of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues, and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up.

The candidate should possess a high energy level, be self-motivated, and able to work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs are advantageous.

Clients include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. The candidate should also have a strong "can-do" customer service attitude.

• 5-9 years of experience in relevant commercial building design
• Demonstrated career growth including project management experience
• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural
• Licensed P.E. in Texas; S.E. preferred
• Experience designing commercial building structures
• Proactive, organized, excellent communication skills, client-service oriented

Walter P Moore offers a hybrid work environment, combining in-office and remote work options. Candidates should be able to commute or travel periodically. A one-time $1,000 stipend and a $50 monthly stipend are provided to support home office setup and expenses.
