We are looking to recruit a permanent experienced Section Engineer to join our team on a major substation project in Suffolk. This role will involve overseeing works related to:
- Car park and access roads
- Infrastructure and utilities
- Bases for pylons
- Fencing and associated civil works
- Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure project delivery on time and within budget
- Supervise all engineering for drainage, utilities diversions, and earthworks
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Provide technical support and mentor junior engineers
- Previous experience as a Senior Site Engineer or Section Engineer on major infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of drainage, utilities diversions, and earthworks
- Experience in the energy sector is advantageous but not essential
- We would consider an experienced Site Engineer ready to step up, provided they have sufficient experience
