Overview
Employee-owned HDR is currently seeking qualified individuals to provide project, geographic and technical leadership in our growing dam, levee and flood resilience programs. HDR is highly ranked in the United States by ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and in Hydropower. Our dam, levee and flood resilience program is committed to improving the resiliency, sustainability, and safety of our communities. HDR engineers are leading the way to solve our toughest water infrastructure problems.
Responsibilities- Provide project, geographic and technical leadership on complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects.
- Serve as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders with expertise in civil, structural, geotechnical or hydraulic engineering.
- Develop and apply expertise in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) as part of project work.
- Collaborate with HDR leadership and teams to expand locations and remote working opportunities while maintaining a flexible work environment.
- Civil, structural, geotechnical, or hydraulic engineers with relevant experience.
- Experience in potential failure mode analysis and related stability or seepage analyses, dam safety, levee safety, and hydraulic structures.
- Familiarity with tools and terms related to the field (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, seepage analysis, stability analysis, dam and flood management).
Primary location:
United States-Nebraska-Omaha. Other Locations include multiple U.S. locations such as Round Rock, Charlotte, East Syracuse, Allentown, Cheyenne, Goshen, Fort Lauderdale, Salem, Baltimore, Fort Worth, Washington DC, Houston, Irvine, Madison, and many more listed in the posting.
