Turbine Outage Engineers - Dubai

SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting experienced Outage Field Engineers (Steam or Gas Turbine) for a global engineering organisation supporting major power generation sites worldwide. Based in Dubai, UAE, this permanent role offers a competitive tax-free salary, exceptional benefits, and full relocation support. You will lead turbine outages, provide technical expertise across international projects, and play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient turbine operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and deliver steam or gas turbine installations, inspections, overhauls, upgrades and outage activities globally

· Provide technical guidance to customers, contractors and on-site teams

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues on turbine equipment

· Respond to emergency service requests and support rapid mobilisation requirements

· Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation and outage recommendations

· Coordinate parts, materials, tooling and logistics for international projects

· Support wider engineering teams remotely when not deployed on-site

· Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

· HND, Technical Degree or equivalent, plus 6+ years’ experience with steam or gas turbines

· OEM field engineering training – GE preferred, with Siemens or Mitsubishi also considered

· Strong technical understanding of turbine systems, installations and outage processes

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and documentation

· Excellent problem-solving skills and confidence working in high-pressure environments

· Fluent English communication skills

· Willingness to relocate to the UAE or currently based in Dubai
