Position: Renewables Project Developer / Energy Storage Development Associate - REMOTE

    • What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Identify, research, prospect, and site land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects
  • Handle all initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of energy projects, including RFP responses
  • Negotiate site control agreements with landowners for renewable and energy storage projects
  • Support development activities for new and ongoing utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects, focusing on tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance

    • What is Required (Qualifications):

  • 3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, LNG, or natural gas with IPPs/Developers/Owners
  • Extensive hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts in the renewables or energy storage sectors
  • Solid understanding of the RFP/RFI process related to project development
  • Proficient in project siting, permitting, prospecting, and due diligence for renewable projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience with energy storage, battery storage, or solar + storage projects
  • Familiarity with land negotiations and support of project financing initiatives
