Utilize AutoCAD for design of inverters, switch gear, wiring, protection, and related Solar PV componentsCreate detailed, accurate, and comprehensive technical drawings for commercial solar system projects using AutoCADPrepare engineering scope of work, RFP, cost estimates, and bid packages for C&I and utility Solar PV projectsReview EPC Contracts, equipment specifications, warranties, and other technical documentationEnsure interconnection applications are complete and coordinate application process with utilitiesWhat is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldAbility to design Solar PV, construction, medium voltage, and/or electrical distribution specifications independently5+ years work experience on Ground Mount, Rooftop, or Carport solar PV systemsExperience completing Solar or Storage projects of at least 5MWProficiency with PVsyst, AutoCAD, or Helioscope design toolsHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with in ISO-NE, NYISO, and/or North East AHJ'sUnderstanding of the EPC Design process for structural and electrical layoutsExperience with ETAP, PSSE, or related software packages for electrical studiesPrevious roles in renewable, utility, or clean energy companiesCandidates with experience as Solar project Engineers, Electrical Engineers, or Electrical Design EngineersWe prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
