Job Title:
Waste Management Compliance Specialist [DOE
0041040]. This is an Exempt W2, contract contingent role located across the CONUS with a focus on Richland, Washington, supporting DOE EM Hanford in a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.
The role may convert to a full-time Pro Sidian employed W-2 position. The assignment supports Environmental Management Sector Clients such as the DOE and Hanford Field Office (HFO) within the DOE-EM EMCBC/DOE framework.
Responsibilities- Support RCRA compliance and monitor waste management practices; prepare reports and coordinate with regulators.
- Environmental compliance activities including National Environmental Policy Act, criticality safety, industrial hygiene, nuclear safety, occupational safety (including construction safety), radiation protection, emergency management, quality surveillance, and quality control.
- Work location primarily in the Pacific Northwest (Richland, WA) with potential remote work as appropriate.
- Compile regulator-ready compliance packages and support Waste Management compliance activities for Hanford Field Office (HFO) General Support Services (GSS).
- 5–10+ years of waste/environmental compliance experience; DOE experience preferred.
- Education:
BS in Environmental Science or Engineering; HAZWOPER certification. - Functional area

Environment, Safety and Health;
Quality Assurance; and related disciplines as required. - Skills:
regulatory interpretation, data QA/QC, program and project management support. - Competencies:
detail orientation, risk awareness, and effective communication.
- Travel: as coordinated with the technical POC and approved in writing by the CO; travel in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
- Security:
Facility Clearance required; DOE clearance as indicated for work; possible on-site at Hanford Site with some remote support as approved. - Place of Performance:
Hanford Field Office, Richland, WA. - Government-Furnished Resources:
Office space, computers, and software provided at HFO; performance primarily on-site with some remote support as approved.
