Senior Electrical Engineer
SOE is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Electrical Engineer who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced industrial facilities for the world’s leading companies. ResponsibilitiesA typical day might include:
- Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large engineering assignments with overall responsibility for budget and schedule adherence, quality control, and inter‑discipline coordination.
- Planning and developing engineering projects concerning unique or controversial problems, offering highly specialized knowledge and skills in a particular branch of engineering.
- Maintaining liaison with individuals within and outside the firm, acting independently on technical matters about the chosen field.
- Supervision is essentially administrative; assignments are given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
- Planning, organizing, supervising, and reviewing the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.
- Actively participating in client contact and business development activities, preparing or supervising contract proposals, and participating in presentations.
- Meeting regularly with the client to define project scope, present progress, and assure satisfaction.
- Accepting or rejecting major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer’s quality, and field construction.
- Maintaining continuing professional education as required.

- Competitive Salary: $130k – $170k/year depending on location, education, experience, and certifications.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and full professional registration required.
- Ten or more years of related practical experience; industrial manufacturing facilities design required.
- Experience in lieu of professional license may be approved in select disciplines at the sole discretion of SSOE.
- Valid driver’s license required; may be waived for international assignments.
