Role Summary:

Steere is seeking an entry level Structural Engineer with 0-2 years’ experience to join our Bridge/Structures Group and assist with structural projects throughout New England.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s (preferred) degree in Civil engineering with a concentration in Structures, as well as a willingness to learn and a desire to work on challenging projects.

Typical Duties:

Structural analysis and design

Contract document preparation including plans, specifications, and estimates

Participation in meetings with clients and project team members

Checking and quality review of structural calculations and contract documents

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited University specializing in structural engineering, Master of Science preferred

EIT preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with structural analysis software such as SAP, CSI Bridge, or similar

Familiarity with CAD software

Desire to learn and work in a team environment
