About the Role
They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong business development acumen to drive the long-term growth of their South Carolina design consulting market. The focus of this role will be on business development and growth strategies. This is a hybrid position with both in-person and remote work opportunities.
Base pay range$85,000.00/yr - $/yr

ResponsibilitiesThis role is ideally suited for someone that has a well developed entrepreneurial mindset that is willing to work closely with executive leadership to expand the footprint of the business by building strong and lasting relationships. This person will appreciate team work and value communication of any type that will provide for the very best service and engineering outcomes for their clients and teammates alike.
Primary project types would consist of site and road design; hydraulic analysis; sanitary sewer and water main design; preparing permits (EGLE, etc.); and bid book and specification development. The role will provide oversite to project budgets and manage project teams, schedules and staff assignments and will mentor junior staff on projects scopes, budgets and staffing plans. This role is responsible for preparing successful proposals and overseeing project selection, and will attend workshops and meetings as required.
- Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent along with a PE in South Carolina along with a solid 14+ years of relevant design and project management experience. Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Station capabilities is important. Willingness to travel throughout South Carolina.
- Strong business development acumen and superior communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with executive leadership.
- Experience in civil engineering, surveying, mapping, landscape architecture, planning, and land development.
Compensation is very competitive for the region. General salary range for this type of role is $90,000-$130,000, and can vary significantly depending on the individual's particular experience and skill set.
