- Drive productivity improvements by understanding best practices and deploying them globally.
- Gain awareness of latest welding technologies (CMT, laser welding) and serve as primary on‑ground focal point for implementation.
- Standardize weld repairs across the network while collaborating with existing stations and synthesizing best practices.

- Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues, lead small projects, and influence stakeholders through effective communication.
- Collaborate effectively in a diverse, global, distributed work environment.
- Maintain deep knowledge of best practices and integration with other areas.
- Use judgment to solve moderately complex tasks in operational, product or engineering domains.
- Communicate technical, organizational and resource recommendations to management.
- Develop persuasion skills to influence others on technical topics.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in welding or welding engineering for aerospace hardware, preferably aircraft engine hardware.
- Knowledge of overhaul and component repair processes.

- Highly motivated, self‑starting and passionate.
- Experience in GE Aerospace MRO Facility.
- Demonstrated team leadership, collaboration and facilitation skills.
- Strong technical communication skills and willingness to improve influencing skills.
- Experience in auditing.
- Flexible and friendly teamwork approach.
- Knowledge of aviation supply chain and quality practices.
