Data modeler

Brunel is recruiting Data Modelers to work in Houston, TX for an initial 1-year contract with our major oil and gas client. This opportunity will be working on their Unconventional Oil & Gas assets and will require the individual to have prior experience within this part of the industry.

• No remote or work-from-home options
• Travel: requires travel to Midland roughly every other month for short trips.

• Perform data analysis to manage large datasets related to emissions and surface operations.
• Support the Net Zero team with emissions-focused data modeling.

• Strong experience with data analysis tools within the oil & gas industry.
• Emissions data experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient in building dashboards and analytics using:
• Power BI (mandatory)
• Tableau
• Spotfire
• Familiarity with:
• Site View (preferred)
• Pro Count
• Background in surface facilities, emissions estimation, and power systems is a plus.
• Experience in unconventional operations is required.
• Knowledge of power distribution and load shedding is beneficial.
• Not a heavy coding or core programming role.
