Field Service Engineer-Inkjet Printing Machinery

A leading international manufacturer of continuous roll-fed inkjet presses used in the labeling industries is looking for a field service engineer to be based out of the Elgin, IL area. This will allow you to work often at the home office in the US. Expect mostly regional travel with limited weekend work. Ideal candidate will have prior experience in field service or maintenance of inkjet printing equipment.

Any experience in color printing is strongly desired. You DO NOT have to have direct industry experience to apply for the role. They are open and willing to train since you will report to their corporate office where equipment is stored and used in demonstrations. An Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics degree is welcome. Good computer and communication skills are a must.

The ability to work independently and within groups is key to success in this role.

• Provide field service and maintenance for inkjet printing equipment used in the labeling industry.
• Be based out of the Elgin, IL area with mostly regional travel and limited weekend work.
• Support demonstrations at the corporate office where equipment is stored and used.
• Work independently and as part of a team; communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Participate in training as needed.

Hourly with OT, starting yearly base salary between $65k and $75k with potential to exceed $90k. Benefits package includes car allowance, laptop, and cell phone.
