Our Jack Up vessels and Floating Heavy Lift Vessels are highly technological equipment working in the offshore industry. As a Crane Operator you are responsible for performing heavy lifts in a safe way.### Your responsibilities
* You operate the vessel cranes on board of a Jack-Up Platform (JUP), Heavy Lifting Vessel (HLV), Cable Laying Vessel (CLV) in accordance with applicable rules, load capacity tables, weather and motion limits, and project-specific lifting plans and method statements.
* You maintain a safe working environment on deck and ensure good housekeeping standards
* You perform daily maintenance and regular inspections of the cranes, crane wires, and cargo gear, ensuring that all equipment used is properly certified and logged
* You carry out crane operations safely and professionally, following operational manuals, lifting procedures and safety regulations
* You train and guide deck crew and crane operator trainees in correct slinging techniques, safe stowage, and proper crane signaling, with a focus on safe 'blind lifting' practices
* You participate in mooring operations and assist in other tasks as directed by the Chief Officer
* You perform maintenance work according to the Planned Maintenance System and request technical assistance via the Chief Engineer when needed
* You contribute to a culture of safety and compliance by following legislation, the VMS Manual, and Unit Specific Procedures
* You prepare a clear handover report for your relieving Crane Operator at the end of your rotation###
Your profile
* You have proven experience as a Crane Operator on offshore vessels, or have similar experience ashore with Cable Crane operations
* You hold a valid Crane Operator Certificate, at least Stage 2 for a Trainee position, Stage 3 for a Senior role
* You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment standards
* You have a hands-on, proactive and safety-conscious mentality
* You communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing### Our offer
