NOTE:
This position is available for full-time remote work within the contiguous Unites States with travel to NuScale physical offices as needed. Preference is for candidates available to work from our Corvallis, OR office location.
Reporting to the Manager, NSSS Piping and Integration, this position performs design and analysis of the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) pipe systems in accordance with ASME BPVC Section III and applicable regulatory requirements. This position is part of the NSSS design engineering organization that generates technical requirements and associated design parameters for the modular advanced light water reactor (ALWR) NSSS.
Utilizing proven state-of-the-art methodologies NSSS components are engineered to nuclear industry standards. All work within the NSSS design organization is completed under ASME NQA-1 quality assurance requirements and respective U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines.
