Associate​/Senior Associate Integrated Logistics Specialist

Overview

This Integrated Logistics Specialist will work to document submarine tactical system functions for operator use onboard. This involves generating new documentation and formatting it into S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) content, as well as consolidating S1000D IETM inputs from various partner organizations.

This position is located in Manassas, VA.

The selected candidate will work with a team of Integrated Logistics Specialists, Systems Engineers, SW Developers, and Operators to document new and updated features, procedures, and capabilities.

• Assist in the development of IETM content using the S1000D standard.
• Provide review and analysis of change proposals, drawing changes, technical manual development, and other lifecycle support considerations.
• Consolidate, review, and re-format technical manual inputs from various submarine system partners.
• Review procedures and documentation with experienced submarine operators, document feedback, and adjust documentation as required.
• Provide technical input to program managers and government representatives.
• Primarily on-site work but some options for work from home.

• Must have either an Associate's degree with 5 years of experience developing technical documentation OR 5 years of submarine operational experience, including experience using the IETM as a watchstander.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• US Citizen with current Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Active Secret clearance

• Experience with S1000D standard.
• Experience with naval tactical systems, preferably submarine fire control systems.
