To strengthen our team, we are looking for a structural engineer (m/f/d) to help shape challenging projects in structural and civil engineering. You will develop structural concepts, prepare verifications and work closely with architects and project participants - from design planning to execution.

JBO Engineering Group GmbH has been an owner-managed company for over 60 years now, specializing in the fields of structural design, project planning and structural testing for sophisticated buildings and civil engineering structures. Our employees have also been active in the offshore wind sector for over 15 years, focusing on structural design, loads, research and testing.

• Preparation of verifiable static calculations within the scope of demanding building and engineering construction projects, onshore constructions, for the new construction of office and residential buildings, primarily in solid and steel construction
• Support for our test engineers in structural testing in building construction and civil engineering
• Carrying out structural inspections on construction sites
• Coordination with test and specialist engineers and contractors
• Supporting our design department in the development of formwork and reinforcement plans

The tasks to be performed can be adapted and weighted according to the interests of the applicant.

• Successfully completed studies in civil engineering at a TU/TH or FH as Dipl.
  
  -Ing. (FH), M.Eng., Dipl.
  
  -Ing. or M.Sc., preferably with a specialization in structural and civil engineering
• We are happy to build on young talent, i.e. graduates are also welcome
• Good knowledge of MS Office (primarily Word and Excel)
• Good knowledge of dimensioning with the finite element method using industry-standard software (e.g. Sofistik, Info Cad, Dlubal, Frilo or mb AEC)
• Friendly and confident demeanor, strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent written and spoken German
