• FEV provides leading services for battery system and cell testing, both electrical and safety testing. As such, this is giving FEV a distinctive edge in in performance comparison, benchmarking and evaluation of battery cells and systems. For this field, we are looking for a master or bachelor thesis student with focus on battery cell testing data analysis
• You will identify comparable cell test data in terms of type, scope, and quality at FEV Europe GmbH and other subsidiaries.
• You will define relevant cell test data for performance comparisons, benchmarking, and cell selection.
• Your tasks will also include defining data formats and a system for storing and retrieving cell test data.
• You will help develop a data format converter and an upload infrastructure.
• You will evaluate cell test data and create comparative and benchmark analyses.

• You are enrolled in a master's program (or advanced bachelor's program) in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field at a leading university
• You have an outstanding academic record and a compelling personal profile
• You have very good analytical skills and experience in evaluating laboratory data
• Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in data analysis, data storage and retrieval, and battery cell technology.
• You are motivated, committed, and enjoy working in a team.
• You communicate very well in English (knowledge of German is an advantage)
